During these 23 years KV.DRDO has established itself as having a set of highly talented students and staff. The Midas touch seems to prevail. Every activity taken up by the Vidyalaya is sure to bring laurels and success.

The Vidyalaya organizes Inter-house competitions to ensure maximum participation. The nature of competitions are varied to bring out the varied and latent talents of students. This prepares them to face the Inter School competititions. Their participation has brought varied degree of success. Some of the trophies bagged by our Children are for Inter-School Quiz, Inter KV.Group Dance, Group Song, Science Fest, Debates and Declamation (Hindi and English), Sanskrit Competitions. .

At the KVS organized competitions, KV.DRDO has done the Bangalore Region proud with the distinction of standing First for five times in succession at the National Leval and one time 3rd place in connection with the Social Science Exhibition (from 1999 to 2004-2005) The Canadian Folk dance was choreographed and directed by Mr.O.Radhakrishnan, LDC of the Vidyalaya. The dances so choreographed was appreciated by a wide audience on different occasion in Bangalore, KVS Regional Office Foundation Day Celebration, KVS Rashtrapati Testing Camp-Fire programme.
