EXAMINATION

Education in Kendriya Vidyalay spans over a period of 12 years from class I to XII. The examination and courses of study followed upto class VIII are those prepared by the National Council of Educational Research and Training [NCERT]. From class IX onwards, the scheme of studies prescribed for the 10+2 pattern by the CBSE is adopted in Kendriya Vidyalays. The students are prepared for the AISSE [Class X] and AISSCE [Class XII] exams of the CBSE, New Delhi. Due emphasis is laid in the curriculam and national identity and value education.

Class XI & XII: English Core, Hindi Core/Sanskrit/Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Computer Science. Work Experience, Physical Education Subjects for Internal Assessment.
